Guest Information

Welcome to our home. While we no longer live here full-time, we absolutely LOVE this place and hold amazing memories of dinners with friends, quiet nights with music and movies, and nights in the backyard under the stars. We primarily ask you to enjoy yourself and the home, and treat it like your home away from home.

Your address while staying with us is: 2715 Zaragosa St, Austin, TX 78702 USA

We assume you will not have regular mail delivered and therefore do not provide access to the mailbox. However, we will check mail periodically just in case. Let us know if you are expecting anything and we will do our best to get it quickly as possible. FedEx, UPS, and Amazon all deliver direct to the door, as do the food services such as uber eats, Favor, and door dash. If you want to see our favorite picks, click here.

We are glad you are here and want your stay to be comfortable and your time in Austin productive. For booking your next trip, please request via airbnb and let us know you are coming back to see us. We will send you a special offer with a repeat guest discount.

House Rules

1. No parties or events allowed.

This is a big one. We’re not here to ruin anybody’s fun, but an Airbnb rental is not an appropriate location for a house party. We need to make sure our rental remains party-free for a number of reasons.

First of all, parties and events usually come with a lot of noise. Whether it’s a bachelorette party or a birthday bash, parties hosted in Airbnbs will drive our neighbors crazy.  And we love our neighbors.

Secondly, Airbnb parties can be a nuisance because of all the cleaning needed afterward. A large group of people celebrating can make a much bigger mess than a handful of guests, even with the best of intentions.

East Austin is AMAZING and has so many places to go celebrate with a group of friends. Feel free to use our Austin Guide for a starter.

2. No smoking allowed.

There’s nothing worse than walking into your Airbnb rental once a guest leaves and being greeted by a strong smell of cigarette smoke. And for some, even a faint smell of smoke can trigger allergies or asthma. So please don’t. Smoking in the front yard is ok but the backyard has furniture and is right off of the living room.

Please do not smoke.

3. No pets allowed.

We love pets. And our mini-Goldendoodle is a co-host. But alas we cannot interview all potential furry guests and not all furry guests are as well behaved as Aaliyah, who will not even go potty in the front yard. So, for now, we must say no to all furry friends, even guests stopping by for a visit must not bring their pets.

4. Suitable for toddlers and children under 12. With a caveat.

The house was definitely not designed with children in mind so please use caution. There is a metal spiral stair case, glass coffee table, and tons of uncovered electrical outlets. It’s your call. Just be careful as we love kids and want them safe and snuggly.

5. No unregistered guests allowed.

Unregistered overnight guests can cause all kinds of trouble – for example, if they break something, we have no way of holding them directly accountable. If you want to add guests to your reservation, please let us know in advance. We are happy to accommodate up to the 6 maximum guests.

6. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.

Asking our guests not to eat or drink in the bedrooms makes us feel sad, but you likely don’t want to deal with red wine stains on your white sheets, so we need to ask everyone to be considerate and not tempt fate.

7. Please take care of the home during your stay.

Please take care of the furnishings. You will have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.  Please don’t rearrange the furniture, and if you do, simply return it to as you found it. Please do your dishes and take the trash out regularly to keep things tidy inside and keep the critters outside. Our trash is collected on Friday mornings and the bins are on the East Side of the home.

Special Note Re Cleaning: We only rent out the home for relatively long stays, with minimum of 7 days. Your cleaning fee helps us prepare the home between visits but does not cover basic cleaning throughout your stay. If you would like to arrange cleaning during your visit, just let us know and we can arrange. We simply ask you to take care of the home as if it is your own.

8. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

BACKYARD EQUIPMENT

We have games in the backyard and office. This is Texas, so things get a bit dusty in the yard and unfortunately, we would have to blow it everyday to keep the patio completely clean. Please put the backyard games back in their cases where possible, giving them a quick dusting to help the next guests.

Oklahoma Joe Smoker Grill

There is a smoker grill in the yard and, unless you have used one before, we would prefer you not make this the first time. During your stay, we are happy to come show you how to use it, but also refer you to our favorite barbecue spot to order your brisket. Much faster!

Use at your own risk. Use caution and have water nearby just in case.

Breeo Firepit

The Breeo takes practice or you will end up smoking out everyone, regardless of what their ads say about being “smokeless”. Here is a video on how to build a fire with Breeo. There is plenty of wood in the backyard wood racks and fire starters are under the smoker.

Use at your own risk. Use caution and have water nearby just in case. Or just turn on a fireplace video on the TV and chill inside. We won’t judge!

ASSISTANCE DURING YOUR STAY

Lawncare. Our lawncare service provider typicaly comes by once every other week to tidy up the front yard during growing season. They do not need access to the home and will be as discreet and respectful as possible.

Cleaning. We had the home thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. If you would like a cleaning service during your stay, please request via the app and we can arrange a basic cleaning for $160 or a full “move-in” cleaning for $250.

Need anything? We hope you will have no issues and have tried to keep it simple and comfortable. Should you need anything, please first try to use the app or email us at info@adamtimothy.com. But if there is anything more urgent, feel free to call or text Adam at 646-265-8324 or Timothy at 773-556-5018. We also have great friends on both sides of the home and across the street.
